About us

We are an animal-assisted wellbeing service passionate about reducing social isolation amongst vulnerable individuals by enhancing the human animal bond. Noah’s A.R.T. is a progressive, innovative and therapeutic service developed by an experienced mental health nurse. We offer a safe space to reconnect with life and living things for those who love animals.

About you

  • Driver with full UK driving licence and car

  • A qualification in animal care, psychology or related subject desired

  • Great communications skills, personable and confident

  • Dedicated and self-motivated

  • Empathetic and understanding

  • Experience working with mental health, autism, dementia desired

  • Happy to undertake a DBS check

About the Job

You will be joining an experienced and dedicated team providing animal-assisted therapy to Greater Manchester. Training in animal-assisted therapy will be provided, alongside how we at Noah’s A.R.T. provide our unique service. You will be expected to learn from our current staff and to assist on our outreach sessions. This will require travelling to venues across Greater Manchester.

£10.50ph

Part-time Hours: 10 per week – Mondays and Fridays 

Job Type: Part-time/Temporary (6 months)

Potential for full time position based on performance and pay review £14 p/h

A Unique Opportunity

The ideal candidate will prove himself or herself over the course of a six-month contract leading to an offer a permanent position within the team and possible extra hours. Although this role is temporary, please recognise this as a long-term opportunity.
